Life inspires me, everything is a lesson to be learned from. Life sparks my inspiration. When you learn a lesson, really learn from it, it stays with you, bounces through the universe, back to you, for you to teach that lesson you learned from that person, back to them. And then you become the key that may have just sparked their fire. But, ultimately, it is up to that individual to carry through the spark. I carried through that spark in a painting of my sister. And it only could have been possible through the series of events that led up to it. So for that, I am thankful for everything that has happened to me in this life, for every experience, because it triggered a spark with enough motivation to carry through. Event...event... (infinity)... an artist's carefree attitude of putting down paint on a canvas sent off a trigger...to a trigger...to a trigger... seeing love through the eyes of a dear friend...(infinity)...to a spark remembering when I was inspired by a picture I saw of my sister swinging. In that photo-memory of her, I saw embodied in her a child in a 21 or 22 year old body. (I don't blame whoever took the picture, as she too was inspired by her spark.) She embodied freedom, and reflected that, such that her body was in a swing-set, but her mind had flown to somewhere else, to great heights of where-everness. Maybe a trip down memory lane, maybe a bliss of transcendence of absolute nothingness as everythingness all at the same time. Such a snapshot of time that holds a foreverness quality of time in our hearts. And so I was inspired again by it and painted/recorded her spark with the spark I now embodied, overlayed by a series of sparks that led up to this one.Titled: "In and out of time, in and out of sparks ... (like flashes before your eyes)"
It was not 'til later I consciously discovered this, but it was before completion that I subconsciously knew all along. Just by allowing whatever instinct to happen, to carry through its natural course. To tangibly record a spark that was created by a series of sparks. I see this tangible expression all the time, through nature, through others' means to describe their tangible sparks, whether conscious of it or not. They're all around us, in all its essences of creation. And in gratitude for that spark, every once in a while, we just might extend our arm out to carry out that spark we were intended to
